Song of Love

(5.1.0) Words of Wisdom: I would like first of all to draw your attention back to the beginning, the reason for which you searched yourselves and decided to develop as mediators to a higher form of Teaching. Know ye this, that the unfoldment of your development is not for the personal satisfaction and achievement of yourself, but for mankind in general. From your mediumship you will ask nothing, knowing that all you require will be brought to you. Know you that unless that Love for mankind in all its forms be within you, we cannot operate. Love is the Governing Force by which all the Universes and the Planes of Spirit, rotate and intermingle under.

 (5.1.1)  Know you that Love in any form be better than a heart filled with hatred. Know you that Love that is truly felt within you is Love that is brought on a higher Sphere. Whether you be that of the so-called hardened male or that of the female, when you start to attune yourself to Spirit this so-called hardness of masculinity must be placed aside. And even more, you who are of the female must bring to the fore, the Love within you, not only for those you can quite easily find harmony with but those that irritate and distract you. I would say, allow the Love within you to flow, for it is the Love of the Inner Self, in whatever form it seeks to express itself. The fullness of mediumship, the maturity of your mediumship and the height you attain in your mediumship is governed by one simple Natural Law, which includes ALL mankind. It be the ray of Love, it be the expression of Love. It be the adornment and crowning glory of all you hope to aspire to. And I repeat, whether it be of he or she!

(5.1.2) May the Eternal Force of Love descend upon you. May It express and show its fullness through you and may you find that Light to shine and shine it for the benefit of mankind. 

On a later occasion more was said on this:

(5.2.1) Words of Wisdom: God bless you. Within the realm of Spirit (and when I say realm, I take this in its entirety) there are different levels of thinking, understanding, wisdom, knowledge and love. I will not demean myself or you, by entering onto planes which are of no interest.  When you come to the conscious wanting for the advancement of your Inner Self, then you begin to meet and converse with Beings of great spiritual awareness. The Plane of your expression is of thine own making, for that which you evolve to now is what you have made for yourself spiritually.

 (5.2.2) This does not mean to say that spiritual advancement on the other side of the veil of expression is impossible; very much more difficult, but still possible. But there you are in a greater communication with Higher Ones, and all of like-thinking gather to themselves and there progress together. And what are they progressing to? The purpose of advancement is to become One with Perfection and thereafter to be and create perfection. I have said many times, it is possible in one day to reach Perfection and this is not a wild statement, it is possible. But when you come here encased in flesh, which is a privilege, you have the many difficulties and pressures of the material but you still have that opportunity to communicate, listen and learn from the Higher Beings which come. These things are done here. Now when one speaks in your realm, you give that individual the courtesy of listening. Surely how much greater should your courtesy be to individuals who have progressed through aeons of time and gathered wisdom, Love and knowledge and then come to give it to you? The power and the Love which is yours to communicate to the physical Being, we do not use it unnecessarily. It is a great sacrifice for those in my realm to come into the mire of this your material Plane. It is even harder to take on the case of flesh with all the spiritual faculties in complete unison with one another. So give to those that come your love and appreciation. It is little to ask for what they partake and give to you. There are many forms of communication. The purpose for gathering together is the advancement of your Inner Selves to progress towards Perfection. Secondly, it is the meeting of friends that you can share this with and interexchange the love and understanding you can give to one another. So come with the Love, the understanding, the joy and the essence of what it is for. Be at peace with one another. Be one another. Take each day as it comes. Live each moment for that moment, making sure that you progress further upon the next moment. In sympathy is an attraction.

One might wonder why Love is so important and is there not some other way in which the goals of life may be accomplished? This was the response:

(5.3.0) Words of Wisdom: The inner Love which is the Spiritual Essence of your Being, was placed there by the Divine Creator in the beginning, before the creation of what you call Time. Mankind’s Love flowed in abundance naturally and without barriers. When the case of flesh became necessary, even then, that flow could still be given unselfishly and uninhibited, for when the case of flesh was created mankind could still see one another as a true expression of the Divine Force that they came from. But then it became necessary for man to give over to himself the various forms he has the right throughout the ages to clothe himself in, to bind and conceal the Inner Self. This Inner Self is far more to the fore in some than in others. This does not mean to say that the evolvement of the Spirit within is higher or lesser, for you must take into account the upbringing and all that the soul has been through. But within you It be, of you. It is and from you It comes.

(5.3.1) To find this Love is not difficult, it only needs one golden key; the key of simplicity. The simplicity of mind without the complications, the barriers and all the materialistic pitfalls, as you think are there. For in love there be no pitfalls, in Love there be no barriers, in Love do you unite once more with the Spiritual Realm from whence you came. In your world the degrees of Love are many, the classifications go on and on, but surely there be one word, then there be but one meaning. Love is but the start and finish of it!

One of our most potent ways of expressing this love is through the gift of words:

(5.4.0) Words of Wisdom: You must first, at all times have complete control of speech. Do not ever speak words of slander. Do not make a rumour to be as truth or fact. With right words always give benefit of doubt. Withhold words that can harm  another one, follow? But with words, good words, always try to help. Remember, speech more powerful than thought; can be more poisonous than venom! Words can crucify a nation, so you watch, because the right speech only comes from right thought.

Following hard on the heels of right thought, it is so important that each of us take time to search out the meaning of what we ourselves understand Love to be, as well as receiving indications from other sources.

(5.5.0) Words of Wisdom: My children, you all must find a pathway that leads to Light, do you not? Then why do you not uphold this thing? You all speak of Love, but not one person can tell me the true meaning of Love. Why is this? What is Love? Is it a substance? Is it something you feel within? My children, I would ask of you now take advantage of Eternity. Let Eternity come to you.

A conversation held about the meaning of Love may throw more light on the issue and show the value of discussion:

It also shows that the Teachers try to get us to think for ourselves to find our own answers and not just be spoon-fed!

Student: I see Love in helping another human being. I see Love in giving from your heart to Spirit, to another person, however horrible they may be. At times I find it very hard, but I think this is probably how Love should be. If you can give Love truly to somebody who upsets you terribly, then I think this must be the ultimate in giving Love.

(5.5.1) Reply: So it is difficult to give Love, for it is seen as that of White Light and to those about you, shall we say, is antipathy. Then you must ensure that the Light which you radiate is not bent or deflected away from them. Difficult to make Love pass through unresponsiveness is it not? So when you come across something that is immovable, that is solid and gives no response to you or to your higher emotions, what should you do? What is way round obstacle? For who knows that which lies beyond. Do not ever pass by that of hard wall that you think is difficult to show Love to, for how are you to know that beyond it, lurks a garden of great beauty?

Student: Send your love thought-wise?

(5.5.2) Reply: To release the Dove overhead, above the wall.

Student: So you are saying do not let the wall put you off? Get over or around the wall, however hard it may be?

Reply: Why do you think the wall might be there?

Student: As a test, as a barrier.

(5.5.3) Reply: They are all one reason: CHALLENGE! Now my little ones, how many of you exercise those Doves that are held within the Spiritual Being? How many of you pass that of wall and release those thoughts consciously?

Student: Are you saying that we imagine the Doves going from ourselves, send them with our thoughts of Love to them? I have been sending loving thoughts, but I have never thought of them reaching over the barrier. I thought I just had to wait until there was just a chink of light in that barrier.

(5.5.4) Reply: Shall we say that it is best to rise to the occasion with wings: flap them hard and you rise. You see, my little ones. If I tell of you that you are to climb a hard mountain, it is easier for you to visualise it and therefore to accomplish the climb. How did you begin when you entered the Earth Plane?

Student:  As a baby.

Reply: Is so. Now where did he come from?

Student:  His mother’s womb.

Reply: And how was he put there?

Student:  By God.

(5.5.5) Reply: Well, perhaps I should say you are half right, for what is God? So therefore this child was created in Love, was he not, as you all were. This baby, the making of which is the embodiment of Love. Though from then on, on your Earth Plane things go wrong. So what is Love?

Student:  Perfection.

Reply:  Perfection in what?

Student: Understanding.

(5.5.6) Reply: Is best answer, but understanding is comprehension and what are you to comprehend anything when Love is yet tarnished? So in the spoiling of that gift, how do you expect to be given further ones such as comprehension? You understand what you see and think, but how often is it that that which you understand is altered entirely when somebody else tells you one new thing, colours the picture differently with one sweep of the brush? For if you recognise things for what they truly are, then you can comprehend them.

Student:  Love is powerful, is not it? Why is it then that it cannot reach some people?

Reply: My little one, you say you cannot reach because they show nothing to you for your Love.

Student: I do not completely mean that, I mean, I see no result at all! I do not particularly want it to come back to me, but there seems to be no results at all.              

(5.5.7)   Reply: Rather like going to the bother of planting the seed and then nothing happens. How are you to know that the seed did not give sustenance to a little mole beneath the ground? You see, that make him happy for he has found unexpected Christmas dinner that in turn enable him to have energy for the wife and make more little ones. And as I say, in the making of the baby there is Love. So if you send Love you have made Love, but you have seen nothing.

Student: Spiritual Love must be completely different from material love. Can you tell us about it, that in any small way we can understand it?

(5.5.8) Reply: I would say that there are very few people on your plane who have any inclination of the meaning of the word Love. Spiritual Love is in the air itself; you cannot see it, but it is the Life Force!  You can feel it when it moves, but if it does not move it does not mean that it is still, that it is gone. By not moving it is still there, still doing its work.

Student: So it is there all the time?

Reply: All pervading. There is no such thing as a vacuum of Spiritual Love!

Prayer to Eternity: Oh great and Eternal Father, we come before Thee and thank Thee for all that has transpired here. We call upon those, the Guardians of each individual present, to place upon them the Cloak of Protection, the guard upon the lips, the seal of caution  that they may in all their doings speak of just tongue. Oh divine Father, we ask that Thy protection shall be placed upon those who work in this great vineyard and we call upon those Souls who will enter this Plane to take upon themselves now the yoke of Service. We ask that the healing rays may permeate and encircle the world of hatred, that in some small way mankind may receive of Thy Divine Love and instil in him the Brotherhood of Mankind. Oh great and Eternal Force of Light, to those who offer themselves up to this Force, we ask that you grant them peace of mind, the peace of sleep, the peace of spiritual serenity, that they may attune themselves to the higher Teachers which will use them. For those who now take the final journey this night, we ask that the Light may be shone to them that they may come willingly to Thy Service. For those who have visited the Earth this night, may they take with them the peace of the Plane of Akasha. Oh great, and eternal Father, into Thy Divine and Eternal keeping do I wholly commend.

My peace I leave with you and the love of my Plane. May it be instilled within you and may you find the simplicity of a child. God bless you, my little ones and know that each of you walk in the protection of the Light of the Eternal Creator of all Beings. God bless you, my little ones.
