SONG OF BEGINNINGS
It seems that one of the main reasons for starting to question the meaning of life is when one is involved in a time of hardship. The cry goes forth, “Why has this happened to me?” Often, a friend will sympathetically reply, “These things are sent to try us!” … And try us our hardships certainly do, but with what lasting effect? Sometimes to leave us bitter (if we have been intolerably hurt) and aggressive (where we feel that no one is on our side and we have to stand up for ourselves), or sometimes compassionate (where we can identify with another’s hardship) and stronger, having survived the experience. But who ‘sent’ them, and above all, why?
(1.1.0) Words of Wisdom: Many times there is the thought ‘If there be a God within the heaven, why then, could this be allowed?’ That poor unfortunate Being is blamed for more than the cat’s spilling of the milk! But you must take into consideration that each separate individual has an individualistic Pathway through this life that they must follow. They have a certain course of life and what may seem most horrific, most painful and unfair to you is that individual’s stairway to a higher realm. Through suffering, one individual can bring to another a greater understanding, even to one who causes the injury. So never look to another Being and in your compassion say, ‘Surely if there were a God it could never be!’ for without this Eternal Force of Love it could never be and it is only through His Love can an individual progress and live an existence that has been chosen. You will find that those who suffer more, have in all cases a greater degree of understanding.

We follow the same method as we try to help our children grow up in their own right. How many times does a loving parent watch anxiously when a toddler is trying to learn to walk and falls over? If the parents never let the child try on their own and inevitably fall, it would take far, far longer to learn this most basic of skills. The instinct of the child’s to do it by themselves is inherent from an early age. How often has a mother been hurt because their child refuses their help, trying to be independent? How often in teenager-hood has this desire to “do it my own way” been misunderstood by parents as rejection rather than their child’s need for the security of the parents’ love and the freedom to do it their way? They have to try to flap their own wings in readiness for the time when they must leave the nest, having previously tried out the most hazardous part of learning to fend for themselves under the watchful (if not always appreciated) eyes of the parents who love them so.
(1.2.1) Words of Wisdom: Various events and experiences are brought about in your lifetime for the sole purpose of helping you ever onwards in your progression towards Perfection. There will be many things which you can never hope to comprehend; you may find yourself in situations that you think are not good and ‘What did you ever do to deserve such as this?’ All these things are for a purpose and all these purposes for one end. It is the same with the spiritual and psychic beginning of your development. We have said many times of the Age that is now in existence about your world, you daily see the chaos and disorder. Many of you wonder where it shall end. There must be far more destruction, far more bloodshed, desolation, misery and lack of love and understanding before mankind will come to a greater understanding of what his existence is based upon.

(1.2.2) Within every Being there was the Wisdom of the Ancient Ones. Within every Being there is the capability of reaching tremendous heights. We only come through Love, in the hope that one or two may find the Light at the end of the long corridor of the materialistic world. The material mind is a beautiful and wondrous thing, but it can also be the millstone about your neck that can drag you down and there drown in the sea of materialism.
Another time, the statement was made, “We will never understand everything, we are only human beings after all. There is an awful lot of difference between living and existence.”

(1.3.0) Words of Wisdom: Life is existence with bells on. To make it interesting, to make it dance as the wind, to make it have sound, to make it have sight and smell. For if there were none of these senses, then you are right, there is existence ~ a void. But you have been given material world and therefore you should use it. What is the purpose of the flower in the ground if no one looks at it, touches it, nor smells it?
How much do we miss simply by not paying enough attention?

(1.4.0) Words of Wisdom: God bless you, my little ones. There is within your world at this time a starting and rustling of anticipation. There is a looking forward to one individual day. Within homes, there is a great preparation for the feasting and merrymaking which shall fall upon that day. There is great time and effort taken to search and look for individualistic gifts to present one to another. There is great material effort placed within for the small conclusion of that day. It should be a day of great joy, love, merriment and joviality. The exchangement of gifts, the coming together of family and friends long since not seen. But in this twelve full cycles of your moon can you give to me just one other day where so much thought and effort is placed within? But let us go to the basis; you within this plane celebrate the Christ Mass day for one period and one purpose: The celebration of the birth of an individual. But there are individuals of equal merit who have been coming to your world every day and moment of your day throughout the entire cycle of your year. Do you ever think to give to them and to celebrate that?
(1.4.1) Yes it is a material day, but it also be one of great spiritual significance and purpose. And if such efforts be placed within that one day, why then cannot a minute fraction of this effort be transported from day to day? A fraction of the enthusiasm, a fraction of the love and understanding, the goodwill. If you yourselves could captivate and bring to each day, just a fraction of what you look forward to, your days would indeed begin to take on the significance of living instead of existence. Within each and every individual there be the capabilities to function on Christ Mass day and on the seven other days of the four weeks in your moon, for twelve moons, but who bothers to look within and find the Christ within themselves? When I say “the Christ” I mean the Anointed One, for your bodies are vehicles propelling through this existence an anointed Spirit designated to perform and become as close to Perfection as that Spirit be capable of, also also giving expression and voice to the material.
(1.4.2) Would you dream of giving to one another even one gift in one week? Other than that, would you carry that on for twelve moons, even if it be a blade of grass? For remember, it is in the giving do you receive and in the receiving do you give. Many times it takes far more courage to receive than to give. To you there be continually giving every day since your existence on this Plane: love, compassion, understanding, guidance, knowledge, wisdom and all those things which are brought to you here. Think my little ones. On that day captivate within you the Christ Mass Spirit. Hold it, project it and show it each day of your existence; for each day is a new beginning, new birth for you as you awaken, a new opportunity to walk hand-in-hand with Perfection and become as Perfection in one day. This is the greatness of the Spirit within EVERY individual incarnated here within your world. To awaken and know you have that opportunity to become as Perfection, as close to Perfection as I be and you have that privilege while still encased within as I be and you have that privilege while still encased within flesh. Bring to perfection what you truly mean by the Christ Mass period. Then bring into perfection your Eternal and Immortal Being.

The question was then posed: “What does Perfection entail?”
(1.5.0) Words of Wisdom: How do you describe Perfection to the imperfect and how can imperfection even visualise what Perfection is until you yourself find that Spark of Perfection within you? … get out of that one! The first step, I would say, is to know your Inner Self and once you know your Inner Self, then you know where your Inner Self originated from and if you know the origin then you know what Perfection is.
Question: I suppose you can only do that by meditation?
(1.6.0) Words of Wisdom: Precisely. In many ways precisely! But also living. This is most important, by LIVING.
The example we are most familiar with in the West, of a life lived dedicated to the pursuit and achievement of Perfection is that of Jesus of Nazareth (“the Nazarene”). Regarding Easter:
(1.7.0) Words of Wisdom: Now, as you come into this festive season, look upon it for what it is. It is the season of Triumph; Light standing above the dark, the Earth coming out of the clutches of seeming death and shooting forth once more its beauty. Look within yourselves, find this and resurrect it and place it outward. Know always that those material and those spiritual problems which surround you, we know of, and when the times are right they are dealt with. Since the conception of this your Plane of Progression it has been accompanied by two other forces. These forces are the forces of illumination and darkness. Since mankind came to this Plane, reincarnating in the flesh, these two things have been an intricate part of his expression. The force of darkness is a force which will come to you, time and time again with no development, with no effort, with no struggle or seeking of spirituality upon your part whatsoever. This is indeed a great force. It is one which is easily obtained and only asks of you one thing: your Spiritual Being to be an intricate part of darkness for all eternity.

(1.7.1) Then there be the other side, the force of Truth, Love, Progression and Light. This Force is a demanding force, asking you to place yourselves and your time at the disposal of the Spiritual Realms, seeking many times, it is thought, unfair requests; always struggling and fighting against what seems at the time to be insurmountable heights. But in effect, all this Force asks of you is to develop the inner Love within you and in return to walk in the Spiritual Truth and Beauty which is your heritage.
(1.7.2) There have been through your ages many teachers, many prophets and all that has been asked by them is for you to seek your Inner Self. The last of these spoke only of Love, the continued advancement of your Spiritual Being through the expression of Love in all its forms. He gathered unto him twelve ordinary beings, as was thought. He trained them and taught them, nurtured them and brought them to a high degree of spiritual love and unfoldment. What is not ofttimes known is that there were in effect spiritual twins and so each one paired. Many think that Simon, called Peter, was the one on whom the Nazarene placed most confidence and responsibility. This is not so. There is within the Book, the one referred to as ‘the Beloved’, the one who would not part, even at the sake of losing his own physical life and stood there upon the mount, at the foot of the cross. Now, what would you say that was an expression of? Out of eleven, one had found the True Path and at their desolation at the physical death of the man Jesus, they thought they had lost all. But only by the ignominious death, while suffering, could even the other ten accept the Truth. For until the physical carcass resurrected and presented itself in much of its agony, could they accept. And one still could not. He had to place the fist within the hand, within the side, within the feet. You too must find in my words, the true meaning of yourself, the true purpose for the expression of life upon this materialistic plane.
(1.7.3) As I have said to others: do not take my word as you see it before your eyes. Look at it in all the aspects I give it and then and only then will I speak plainly to you through those written words. So read and re-read the notes that your Spirit may reach out to the words I speak. I hold before you the Torch of Truth. When this occurs, it will then filter this Truth through unto the material Being.
Question: I was just thinking, how does the Nazarene really think about us? It is so hard to understand. Doesn’t he ever lose patience with us? Will we ever learn before it is too late?
(1.8.0) Words of Wisdom: Yes, impatience will sometimes over-rule love for a moment, but the driving force is Love.
Question: Does he forgive us when we go off the straight and narrow?
(1.8.1) Words of Wisdom: But who is he to forgive you? Surely it is for you to forgive yourself. In Love there is absolute forgiveness. Total!
Question: I would like to know how I can express my Inner Self for the benefit of others?
(1.9.0) Words of Wisdom: You express it through Love, through understanding, through a greater acceptance.
Prayer to Eternity:
(1.10.0) May the tranquillity, may the Love, may the rejuvenation process of your world, enter into you all and know always that the Hand of Divine Providence guides your Pathway. My Love and Blessings be upon you, be them in you, be them of you and about you. God Bless you.
(1.11.1) If you cannot do something with Love, it is better left undone.
(Such is the goal we are striving to reach!)
Let us remind ourselves what LOVE really is, remembering that ‘GOD’ is LOVE:
Love is caring
Love is tolerant
Love is patient,
Love is sharing
Love is kind,
Love is compassionate
Love is forgiving
Love is not jealous
Love is helping others
Love always hopes,
Love is God.
(Add as many examples of what true Love means to you as you like!)
Truly, when our Inner Self (more commonly called our ‘Higher Self’ or ‘Conscience’) pricks us, we are being given a guideline towards the correct Path. How often does our conscience bother us and keep us from that peace of mind that we all seek to attain, our spot in the sun? So many over countless years have sought to embrace this state of peace through their daily lives and yet it has eluded most. Meditation itself is essential, yet there is one other essential quality for a deep and lasting Peace of Being ….…………
